I appreciate greatly that Superior Auto Service people are honest in their evaluations, and in this day and age, reasonable in their costs. Since the pandemic, pay for services has gone through the roof, and the electronic diagnostics that are required these days and charged for drive me up the wall, but that is certainly not their fault. Their prices and diagnostic procedures are what are standard in auto repair these days. They’ve taken care of two of my cars, and diagnosed my cars’ problems correctly where other shops failed to do so. I checked around at several other shops in the area and got their per hour prices and estimates before deciding that Superior Auto is where I would take my cars. Since their repairs, I have not had any trouble with either of them. I highly recommend their service. It’s hard to find friendly, courteous, competent, reliable work these days, and some shops have some of these characteristics, but Superior Auto Service has them all, so if you have trouble with your car, this shop is a great place to build a relationship with. They also inspect your entire car for free the first time you bring it in and give you a written evaluation, accompanied with pictures, of their findings, which lets you know what shape your car is in and what to expect in the future. They also have a three-year guarantee on their work, so definitely a big thumbs up to their professional integrity and business ethics. They will be my go-to as long as I live in College Station. They are what you hope a auto shop will be.
