I was over-charged for my new transmission that I had installed in my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. I looked up new Chevrolet transmissions online and the high cost was $3800.00. A GM representative I spoke with informed me that Superior Auto over-charged me for the transmission. Superior Auto charged me $5,891.43. After reviewing my final bill, I noticed that Superior Auto had charged me twice for programming my transmission. I went back on Thursday, June 30, 2022; and $250.00 was reimbursed back to me. B and B Brothers own another mechanic shop on Coulter Street, Bryan, Texas. They have done work on my 1965 Ford for several years. It has been a good working relationship until the installation of my new transmission in my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. I strongly feel I was grossly over-charged. I am a retired Veteran. Most places that give military discounts give a 10% discount. Superior Auto only gave me a 5% discount.
Shelton, I deeply apologize that you feel you were overcharged. Please understand that we did inform you that this repair would be covered by your warranty at the dealership at no expense to you as well. I do wish we could have had this conversation before the repairs were approved so that we could have taken a different approach to meet your financial expectations. We do know you have been a loyal customer and we have always tried to keep our communication as honest and transparent as possible.
