I called for a consultation and they were very rude, whatever the reason a client calls for, your job as a business is to provide solutions and sell your services, not push potential customers away.

I brought my vehicle here as a result of my roommate's father recommending it and am very pleased he did. Dan (the owner) was friendly and informative; he told me what was wrong with the vehicle and even showed me an example of the problem with a display they have in their lobby. They only charged me for the parts they used and had great detail in their descriptions on the receipt. I feel like I got quality work with them since, as a result of their engine work, my vehicle is now running quieter than it has in years. I will be sure to recommend Superior to anyone that is telling me they have car trouble in the BCS area!

The WORST!! Constantly trying to charge ridiculous prices for routine repairs. They wanted to charge me $800 to change an oil gasket!!! Every time I went to this place, they would try to find ways to rip me off. They also (1) ruined my dashboard on one occasion, while making a repair (2) stripped the threads on my oil pan plug while changing my oil, and (3) overfilled my oil during an oil change, despite my having told them specifically how much oil my engine required. Every time you go in there, it's just a constant process of them trying to find ways to get you to do services that you don't really need, so they can rip you off. They will be very nice and courteous at your first visit, but they will soon follow that up with pressure to bring your car in for service via mailings, etc. Plus one of the service personnel was EXTREMELY rude to me on one occasion. I live only a few blocks away from these creeps, but I will drive all the way across town to another service center to avoid their rip off prices. I can't ever remember a worse experience when having my vehicle repaired.

Overcharging for car repairs is the last thing we ever want to do. It wouldn't make any sense when there are other car repair shops around town. We focus on creating the best customer experience for every customer, and it sounds like we weren't able to provide that for you. I take all reviews to heart and want to learn from them. You can be sure I'll speak with all our mechanics to make sure we're still providing the exceptional level of service we're used to. Had a problem with my AC. They said they suspect that the fan is the problem. They replaced it (costed me $350). The AC still didn't work. They next suspected the compressor is the problem, and they wanted to replace the compressor (which costs $1,000 at least). But I told them not to replace it. Went to another repair shop, they said that the problem is that the fan is not connected well. They fixed it for ~$50. That's all! I don't think I will go to Superior Auto Service again. They are not superior at all.

It's disappointing to hear that your fan wasn't installed correctly after we finished, Husain -- I hope you accept my apologies. Our mechanics will only suggest a repair if we find that it's absolutely necessary, because nobody wants to replace car parts that are working properly. 22 year old daughter took her car there. Water pump, hoses, headlight and 2 front tires. Quoted $1600. Wanted to charge labor for water pump AND hoses (even though you have to remove and put on the hoses to do the waterpump). Wanted 50 dollars labor to change the lightbulb. Took the car to CarDocs just down the road. Didn't need hoses, or the headlight. Did the work in one day for $919! Really? Trying to take advantage of a young girl! Shame on you.

I took my beetle in for an oil change and a state inspection and was pleasantly surprised! They offered great service and they have a very friendly staff! While I was waiting, a young lady came in and needed a ride home because they had to keep her car overnight; immediately they offered to take her and had a nice woman drive her. I highly suggest this place!
